<br /> COUNCIL CHAMBERS, MUNICIPAl BUILDING, ON APRIL 3, 1979, COMMENCING A% 7:00 P.M.

<br /> WHEREAS,' Chap{~r 21 of Title 2.1, Code of Virginia, 19S0, as amended, requires the
<br />discussions of proposed budgets of a public body to be held in public; and
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS the public is invited to attend and observe without expressing their views
<br />concerning such budget; and
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, a public hearing will be held on April 10, 1979, whereat the public may express
<br />such views.

<br /> close, and diseontinue a portion of an unnamed alley on the north side of Turnpike Road. This
<br /> resolution will appoint viewers, pursuant to State law, to make a recommendation to City
<br /> ~Coundil.' T~ City Manager recommends adoption."

<br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia, that
<br /> Frank N. Bilisoly, L. A. Cla.rk, A. N. Kendrick, Charles Hudgins and James Griffin, be appointe
<br /> viewers.and R. Irvine Smith be appointed an alternate viewer in the event one of the preceding
<br /> viewers fail to participate, said viewers to view the hereinafter-described portion of such
