<br />BE AMENDING SECTION 6-8(118,31) AND SECTION 6~8(118.31) (a)(4) PERTAINING
<br />T~Q BUILDING PERMIT FEES FOR GROUP H-HIGH HAZARD CONSTRUCTION AND IMPROVEMENTS."

<br />side of Allard Road. The Planning Commission has approved same and this resolution appoints
<br />viewers pursuant to State Law. The City Manager recommends adoption."

<br /> "A RESOLUTION APPOINTING VIEWERS FOR CLOSING~OF THE FOLLOWING STREET:
<br /> 50-FOOT ALLEYWAY ON THE WEST SIDE OF ALLARD ROAD.

<br /> WHEREAS, Russell B. Harper and Magdalene Harper and William Barnes have made application
<br />to vacate, close and discontinue the hereinafter described portion of a certain alley on the
<br />west side of Allard Road, and it appearing that:notice of application and request for the
<br />appointment of viewers was duly posted on June 14, 1979, on the bulletin board of the City Ha_l
<br />Building of the City of Portsmouth, the bulletin board of the General District Court (Civil
<br />Division) and the bulletin board of the Circuit Court of the City of Portsmouth.

<br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia, that
<br />Frank N..Bitisoly, Louis J. Leitner, Rev. H. G. Hairston, James H. Griffin and James L. Lineh~n
<br />be appointed viewers and James Moss be appointed an alternate viewer in the event one of the
<br />preceding viewers fails to participate, said viewers to view the hereinafter described portio~
<br />of the said alley and to report to this Council in writing whether in their opinion any, and
<br />if any, what inconvenience would result in the vacating and closing of the following:

<br /> Beginning on the west side of Allard Road approximately 799' westerly;
<br />thence, southerly fr~m the northwest intersection of Allard Road and Gust
<br />L~ane; thence, west 90'; thence, south S0'; thence, east 90' to the west
<br />right~fway of Allard Road; thence, north along the said right-of-way 50' to
<br />the point of beginning.'

<br />under the Will of Florence B. Maupin, deceased, have made application to vacate, close and
<br />discontinue the hereinafter described portions of a 1Sleet alley on the south side of Commerc~
<br />Street, and it appearing that notice of application and request for appointment of viewers
<br />was duly posted June 7, 1979, on the bulletin board of the City Hall Building of the City of
<br />Portsmouth, the bulletin board of the General District Court (Civil Division) and the bulleti~
