If anything, I feel very strongly <br />the paper work involved should be expedited at the earliest possible moment to repose within <br />the confines of the largest waste paper basket to be found at City Hall. Fick, of Westhaven spoke in opposition to the preliminary recommendations. <br /> <br /> Motion by Mr. Early and seconded by Mr. Oast to reconvene the City Council meeting at <br />6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February 12, 1980 for a staff briefing with the understanding that <br />this item would come back before the Council on Tuesday, February 26, 1980 at the regular <br />meeting. The above speakers will be notified. Mr. Williams suggested that this item be <br />referred to the Municipal Financ_ Commission for financial consideration. <br /> <br />Motion approved 6-0 <br /> <br />(1) PRELIMINARY LAND USE ELEMENT <br /> <br /> OR THE YEAR 2000 COMPREHENSIVE PLAN: <br /> <br /> The City Planning Commission's COMPLAN 2000 committee will make its preliminary <br />report regarding the land use element for an updated city comprehensive plan. This is <br />to be considered an interim action ~rior to the conduct of public hearings on said <br />document by the Commission. At thi stage, the Council and Planning Commission will <br />consider what is to be placed before the public for consideration at the pending <br />hearings. <br /> <br /> <br />
