The City of Virginia Beach recently passed an ordinance allowing taxicabs licensed in other cities to pickup return passengers in Virginia Beach. Virginia Beach also requested other localities to enact reciprocal ordinances. The Tidewater Transportation District Commission subsequently recommended this action.
