<br /> 'The PRHA has made application to close a certain unnamed 30' street on the southside of
<br />Airline Boulevard mn connection with the Hattcnsville Redevelopment Project. The Planning
<br />Commission at its meeting on April 5, 1983, recommended the approval of this street closure,
<br />and the attorney's for PRHA has caused the necessary advertisement to be published as required
<br />by iaw.

<br />"A RESOLUTION APPOINTING VIEWERS FOR THE CLOSING A 30 FOOT UNNAMED STREET ON THE
<br />SOUTH SIDE OF AIRLINE BOULEVARD.

<br /> WHEREAS, Portsmouth Redevelopment and Housing Authority has made application to vacate,
<br />close and discontinue the hereinafter-described portion of a ceftin 30' unnamed street on the
<br />south side of Airline Boulevard: and it appearing that notxce of application and the request
<br />for the appointment of viewers was duly advertised according to law.
<br />
<br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE [T RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia, that A
<br />N. Kendrick, Charles R. Hudgins, Robert Reed, Harrison Miller and R. E. B. Stewart be appointe
<br />viewers and that Clinton J. Fortune and J. R. Wilkerson be appointed alternate viewers in the
<br />event one of the preceding viewers fails to participate, said viewers to view the hereinafter-
<br />described portions of such street, and to report to this Council in writing whether ~n in thei
<br />opinion any, and if any, what inconvenience would result in vacating and closing the following

<br />Portsmouth, Virginia, and comprising that portion of an unnamed street as shown
<br />on the plat entitled "Plat Showing 30 Foot Unnamed Street And 10 Foot Widening
<br />Strip To Be Closed For Portsmouth ReDevelopment And Housing Authority", prepared
<br />by the Engineering 2 Technical Services Department of the City of Portsmouth,
<br />Virginia, dated August 31, 1982, a copy of which is attached hereto. (S-83-8)"

<br />Avenue in connection with the Hatton$~ille Redevelopmen~ Project. The Planning Commission

<br />N. Kendrick, Lenon Vann, H. G. Hariston, James H. Griffin and James L. Linehan be appointed
<br />viewers and that James Moss and Clinton Eortune be appointed alternate viewers in the event on
<br />of the preceding viewers fails to participate, said vmewers to view the hereinafter-described
<br />portions oE said street and to report to this Council in writing whether mn their opinion any,
<br />and if any, what inconvenience would result in the vacating and closing of the following:
