<br /> "As I indicated in my budget message, I am recommending no tax rate increases for the
<br />1984-85 fiscal year. Therefore, the enclosed Ordinance is for the purpose of simply re-enacti:
<br />the present tax rates on real estate, tangible personal property and machinery and tools.

<br /> I recommend that the City Council adopt ithis ordinance re-enacting the present tax rates
<br />for the next fiscal year."

<br />priate $2,389,344 for improvements to Greenwood Drive.
<br />
<br /> "The 1983-88 Capital Improvement Program authorizes $1,490,000 for needed street and
<br />drainage improvements to Greenwood Drive. As you recall, the original design did not provide
<br />for covered drainage. The center ditches result in high maintenance costs and are hazardous
<br />from a traffic and health prospective. The redesign is in keeping with Council's desire to
<br />eliminate these hazards and eyesores.
<br />
