S. Department <br />of Commerce, United States of America, for a grant under the terms of Public Law 89-136, <br />as amended. <br /> <br /> "The Director of Economic Development, acting as Executive Director of the Portsmouth <br />Port and Industrial Commission states that the PPIA is presently planning for the development <br />of a marine services park in the Pinners Point/Scotts Creek area. This area consists of <br />approximately 60 acres of industrially zoned waterfront land and development is necessary in <br />order to locate Moon Engineering in our City. <br /> <br /> Assistance is being requested from the Economic Development Administration, U. S. <br /> Department of Commerce, for the construction of the public utilities necessary to supp~o~r~t <br /> the available tracts or'land in this area. This public works project includes the installatio <br /> of a gravity sewer to provide direct service to the area; a pump station and force main whicn <br />~whill connect the system to the nearby sewage treatment plant; and, a water main to provide <br /> the water supply and fire protection needed in the area. Of the total estimated cost of <br /> $914,808, 55% or $S00,000 represents federal funds and 45% or $414,808 represents the local <br /> match. <br /> <br /> Officials of the Economic Development Administration require a resolution by the City <br />Council body for support of the project, authorization for submission of the application and <br /> <br /> <br />
