Hoggard and C. R. Eure, <br /> owners, for 14 apartment rental units on land lying on the south side of <br /> Bruce Place between Douglas Avenue and Hull's Creek, deferred from the <br /> Public Hearing of November 13, 1984. <br /> <br /> C. Raeford Eure, 4303 Manchester Roadrepresenting Hoggard & Eure Associates, stated that <br />he had looked into all issues requested and had been before CAR and received unanimous approval <br />of the modification of the buildings from 3 stories to 2 stories, also, had no opposition to <br />the closing of the street. <br /> <br /> Lewis Thomas, 131 Florida Avenue, representing Port Norfolk Civic League, requested an <br />additional 4 minutes to speak. <br /> <br /> Motion of Mrs. Webb and seconded by Mr~ Gray, that an additional ~ minutes be granted, <br />and was adopted by unanimous vote. <br /> <br /> Mr. Thomas spoke against the project and stated that the <br />the application,, but if the project was approved the existing <br />down. <br /> <br />Port Norfolk Civic League oppose~ <br />house should be moved or torn <br /> <br /> Mary Edwards, 117 Bruce Place, stated that space was not available to accommodate the <br />units as petitioned. <br /> <br /> L.
