<br /> "The ordinance on your Agenda pertaining to amendment of ~IL-~g OF THE City Code has been
<br />developed by the City Attorney in order to assist the_Police and ~agistrate in determining the
<br />types of violations to be written under this Code seztion. Since violations pertaining to drug
<br />related activities are punishable as felonies, the charges for such violation should not be
<br />written under the City Code.

<br /> Paragraph (B) of Section 21-98 has been added to provide such instruction for Police
<br />Officers and the Magistrate.
