<br /> James D. Lassiter, 508 Powhatan Avenue, stated that taxes on recreational vehicles should
<br />be lowered as well as the boat tax.

<br />PORTSMOUTH, VIRGINIA, 1973, BY ADDING SECTION 23-516 THERETO PERTAINING TO
<br />BOAT REGISTRATION, FEE, ISSUANCE AND DISPLAY DF DECAL, PENALTY, ETC."

<br /> Motion of Mr. Whitlow and seconded by Mr. Beamer, to reduce the registration fee from
<br />$20.00 to $10.00, and was adopted by unanimous vote.
