In accordance with <br />the applicable purchasing laws, a contract has been negotiated with the firm of C. B. Maguire, <br />Inc. C. E. Maguire, Inc. was selected through competitive negotiation based on the strength <br />of their proposal and qualifications. <br /> <br /> The proposed contract with C. E. Maguire, Inc. ~s for the sum of $49,500 and calls for <br />the completion of survey work, assessment of existing utilities and streets, and the develop- <br />ment of a comprehensive Utility Master Plan for the PortCentre project. <br /> <br />Funds for this project are available in the 1984-85 Capital Improvement Program, page 105 <br /> <br /> It is recommended that the contract with C. E. Magu~re, Inc. be approved, and that $49,50 <br />be appropriated frcm the 1984-85 CIP for this purpose. <br /> <br /> Motion of Mr. Beamer and seconded by Mrs. Lucas, to approve the ordinance on first <br />re~ding. <br /> <br /> <br />
