The FOPMP is a 501(c)(3) organization that fund-raises for the support of the <br />Mounted Patrol Unit. <br /> <br />Discussion: <br /> <br /> The purchased trailer is large enough to safely transport the two horses that <br />Mounted Patrol currently has plus any additional horse(s) that the unit may get in the <br />future. <br /> <br />Financial Impact: <br /> <br /> <br /> The donation will save the Portsmouth Police Department approximately $60,000. <br /> <br />Recommended Action: <br /> <br /> Adoption of the ordinance.
