certain parcels of land in the PortCentre Commerce Park to the Industrial Development Authorit~

"The Department of Economic Development is presently finalizing plans for the development
of the PortCentre Commerce Park in the Southside area. Plans call for all property in Port-
Centre to be titled in the name of the Industrial Development Authority of the City of Ports-
mouth. This property will then be sold through the Industrial Development Authority with net
land sale proceeds to revert to the present owners of this property, the Portsmouth Redevelop-
ment and Housing Authority and the City of Portsmouth.

The City of Portsmouth presently owns a total of twenty-eight (28) parcels of land in
what is to become Phase I of PortCentre. In order to facilitate marketing of this property,
it will be necessary t:o deed these parcels to the Industrial Development Authority. These
twenty-eight (28) parcels comprise a total of 2.494 acres. It is presently estimated that the
sale of these parcels will yl~eild gross proceeds totalling approximately $174,000 which, less
disposition expenses; will be returned to the City at the time of sale.
