<br />ordinance, and was adopted by the following vote:

<br />“ORDINANCE TO: (1) ACCEPT GRANT FUNDING FROM THE VIRGINIA
<br />DEPARTMENT OF EDUCATION IN THE AMOUNT OF $255,652 AND APPROPRIATE
<br />SAID SUM IN THE FY 2020 PORTSMOUTH PUBLIC SCHOOLS GRANTS FUND
<br />BUDGET; AND (2) AUTHORIZE THE TRANSFER OF $42,410 FROM THE FY 2020
<br />PORTSMOUTH PUBLIC SCHOOLS GENERAL FUND BUDGET TO THE FY 2020
<br />PORTSMOUTH PUBLIC SCHOOLS GRANTS FUND BUDGET TO SERVE AS THE
<br />REQUIRED LOCAL MATCH FOR THE SAID GRANT.”

<br />20 - 60 - Adoption of an ordinance to amend and reordain\\ article I of Chapter 6 of
<br />the Code of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia (2006) regarding the regulation of
<br />vessels in the North Harbor and High Street Inlet and along the Portsmouth Seawall
<br />by amending Section 6-7 to clarify that the mooring of certain vessels used for the
<br />operation of a public ferry service is permitted.

<br />February 25, 2020 City Council meeting, and was adopted by the following vote:
