Pursuant to advertisment as required by the City <br />Charter the following bids were received. <br /> <br />for <br /> <br />~homas & Rosemary Thornton $11,257.00 <br />B. Taran 10,667.00 <br />Bradford B. Baker 10,200.00 <br /> <br />All of the bids provided for structural <br />use as rental property. <br /> <br />improvements <br /> <br />to the existing building and continued <br /> <br /> I recommend adoption of the resolution accepting the high bid of Thomas and Rosemary <br />Thornton and authorizing conveyance of the subject property." <br /> <br />Motion of Mr. ]ray and seconded by Mr. Corprew to adopt the resolution. <br /> <br /> Substitute motion of Mr. Barnes and seconded by Mrs. Webb, that the matter be referred <br />back to the City Manager for study, and was adopted by 5-2 (Nay-Lucas, Simpson) vote. <br /> <br /> 86-245 Letter from the City manager recommending adoption of a motion to refund Persona <br />Property Taxes and Business License fees, without interest, as follows: <br /> <br />a. ~17.44 to Dr. Nathan P.
