The toal refund in this case is $6,442.30. <br /> <br />taxpayers have been <br />Clerk's Office. We <br />provided, for each <br /> <br />forwarded <br />therefore <br />taxpayer, <br /> <br /> I recommend that Council adopt this motion to authorize the refunds to be paid by the <br />City Treasurer and Director of Finance. <br /> <br /> Motion of Mr. Simpson and seconded by Mrs. Lucas, that refunds be authorized as requested <br />above, without interest, and was adopted by unanimous vote. <br /> <br />NEW BUSINESS <br /> <br /> 86-247 - Irv~ne Lee, 1439 Lake Forest Drive, representing Lake Forest Residents, spoke <br />concerning disturbance in the Crystal Lake area from persons swimming in the lake', and trespass <br />ing on private property. <br /> <br /> Motion of Mrs. Webbcand seconded by Mrs. Lucas~ to suspend the rules, and Mrs. Lee was <br />granted an additional 5 minutes, and was adopted by unanimous vote. <br /> <br /> Motion of Mr. Gray and seconded by Mrs. Webb, that the matter be referred to the City <br />Manager for investigation; also contact Chesapeake officials of the problem, and a report be <br />furnished to Council and the citizen, and was adopted by unanimous vote. <br /> <br /> 86-248 George Rayfield, 3725 Pinebark Road, spoke concerning Pepperwood Development <br />connecting to Old Farm Road and creating a traffic problem. He wanted to know how Mr. Bickfor~ <br />could attach to Old Farm Road when he was advised that he could non until the Western Freeway <br />was completed. <br /> <br /> Motion of Mr. Simpson and seconded by Mr. Gray <br />Manager for investigation and a report be furnished <br />vote. <br /> <br />that the matter be referred to <br />to Council, and was adopted by <br /> <br />the City <br />unanimous <br /> <br /> 86-249 Richard Moore, 410 Park Manor Road representing the Park Manor Civic <br />spoke concerning the Mimosa Road improvements and that the City investigate to see <br />be done to go ahead with the project. <br /> <br />League, <br />what can <br /> <br /> Mrs. Rose Fly, 207 Minosa Road, representing the Minosa Road residents, s~oke concerning <br />the Mimosa Road inprovements and the need for the project to done. <br /> <br /> Motion of Mr. Simpson and seconded by Mrs. Lucas, that the matter be referred to the <br />City Manager, ~and was adopted by unanimous vote. <br /> <br /> 86-250 Anne McGowan-McGlynn, 364 Middle Stree, <br />offered congratulations ~o the new City Council and to <br />Mayor. <br /> <br />representing Olde Towne Civic League, <br />Mrs. Webb on her reelection as Vice <br /> <br /> 86-281 Councilwoman Lucas, asked about animal control ordinance and if that might be <br />reviewed by Council. <br /> <br /> <br />
