6 <br /> <br />~ugust 26, 1986 <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the applicant and the Planning Director have done all <br />things required to be done in connection with said application; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has recommended the granting <br />)f a use permit for the operation of a childcare center. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE I% RESOLVED by the Council of the City of <br />Portsmouth, Virginia: <br /> <br />1. That the use for which the use permit is sought: <br /> <br /> (a) Will not adversely affect the health and safety of <br />~ersons residing or working in the neighborhood of the propcsed use: <br /> <br /> (b) Will not be detrimental to the public use or injurious <br /> o the proFerty or improvements in the neighborhood: and <br /> <br /> (c) Will be in accordance with the purposes of the Zoning <br />2hapter of the City Code. <br /> <br /> 2. T. C. Bennett is hereby granted a use permit pursuant to <br /> ion 40-71 (b) of the City Code to operate a childcare center at <br />2705 Chicago Avenue iUP-86-8). <br /> <br /> 3.
