September 9, 1986 <br /> <br /> On motion of Mr. Gray and seconded by Mrs. Lucas, the followin~ <br />resolution was adopted, and by the folIowing vote: <br /> <br />"A RESOLUTION APPOINTING VIEWERS FOR CLOSING OF A PORIION <br />OF BAY STREET. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Portsmouth Boating Center, Inc., and Christiam Broad- <br />casting Nework have made application to vacate, close and diiscontim <br />the hereinafter-described portion of Bay Street, and it appparing <br />that notice of application and request for the appointment bf viewer <br />~as duly advertised as required by law. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the C~ty of <br />?ortsmouth, Virginia, that Charles R. Hudgins, Robert Reed, Ha[risonI <br />4iller, Moses Gibson and Alber~ J. Carr be appointed viewers and thai <br />Simon P.
