<br /> resolution to change the regularly scheduled City Council meeting
<br /> September 23, 1986, to September 16, 1986.

<br /> "As you are aware, the Virginia Municipal League will hold its
<br /> aal conference on September 21, 22, and 23. The conference date~
<br />onflict with the regularly scheduled City Counmil meeting on
<br /> ~tember 23, 1986.
<br />
<br /> Because of the conflicting dates with VML, I recommend adoptio
<br />of the attached resolution changing the regularly scheduled meeting
<br />on September 23, 1986, to Tuesday, September 16, 1986."

<br /> a motion to refund $3,253.92, plus interest, to Portsmouth Enterpris
<br /> Inc. for over assessed Real Estate Taxes.
<br />
<br /> "The City Assessor is requesting a refund of $3,253.92, plus
<br /> interest, to Portsmouth Enterprises, Inc., whose mailing address is
<br /> P. O. Box 7205, Portsmouth, Virginia 23707. The refund is for Real
<br /> state Taxes assessed and paid in error for the fiscal year 1985-86
<br /> I recommend that Council adopt this motion and a refund be
<br /> ranted with interest."
