As y~u know, <br />the Priority Action Plan calls for the removal of meters along High <br />Street once ~r~atscapes are in place. The proposed Capital~Imlp¥ove-II <br />menz Plan which was presented to you on Tuesday, September ~, 1986 <br />recommends funding for this phase of the Priority Action Plan in <br />funding Fear 1988/89 ($1.4 million). <br /> <br /> According to the City's Traffic Engineer there are 79 ~arktng <br />meters which generate on an annual basis $21 400 at 20¢ per]ho~;. <br />Nith the removal of these meters twO-hour parking would be ~nfc'ced <br />in the same manner in which the first five blocks are enforqed. <br /> I <br /> The City Attorney has indicated that the City Code woulld h ~ve <br />to be modified to remove meters from this section of High Stlree:. <br />Attached is an ordinance which was prepared by the City Attolrney and <br /> recommend it for your approval." <br /> <br /> <br />
