October 14, 1986 <br /> <br />UNFINISHED BUSINESS - <br /> <br />86-338 - Use permit and group housing applications: <br /> <br />(a) UP 86-9 - <br /> <br />PORT NORFOLK NEIGHBORHOOD: Use permit appli- <br />cation of Mark and Sherbie Skeen for cenversio~ <br />of a single family dwelling to a dupliex at <br />2701 Bayview Boulevard, approved on first <br />reading at the Public Hearing of September 16, <br />1986, was taken up and read. <br /> <br /> On motion of Mrs. Webb and seconded by Mr. Gray, the following <br />resolution was adopted on final reading, and by the following tote: <br /> <br />"A RESOLUTIDN GRANTING A USE PERMIT TO MARK AND SHERBIE <br />SKEEN FOR THE CONVERSION OF AN EXISTING SINGLE-FAMILY <br />DWELLING TO A DUPLEX RESIDENCE AT 2701 BAYVIEW BOULEVARD <br />(UP 86-9). <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Mark and Sherbie Skeen has made application pnrsuant <br />to §40-102 (B) for a use permit to convert an existing single-famil <br />residence to a dupl&x-res,idenne at 2701 Bayview Boulevard (Tax Map <br />140, Parcel S( which is located in the Port Norfolk Historic Distri <br />and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the applicant and the Planning Director have don~ all <br />things required to be done in connection with said application~ and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has recommended the granting <br />of a use permit with conditions for the conversion of an existing <br />single-family dwelling to a duplex residential structure. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of <br />'ortsmouth, Virginia: <br /> <br />(1) That the use for which the use permit is sought: <br /> <br /> (a) Will not adversely affect the health and safety of <br />~ersons resideing in the neighborhood of the proposed use; <br /> <br /> (b) Will not be detrimental to the public use or injurim <br />:o the property of improvements in the neighborhood; and <br /> <br /> (c) Will be in accord with the purposes of the Zonigg <br />Chapter of the City Code. <br /> <br /> 2.
