November 25, 1986 "At the Council meeting held on November 10, 1986, you approvec the establishment of the School Board Risk Management and Insurance Fund. As I mentioned in my transmittal letter for this agenda item the Superintendent of Schools has agreed to an initial contribution to this fund for the balance of the current fisca~ year. The attached crdinance appropriates $248,042 in the School Board Risk Management and Insurance Fund, and represents the amount to be funded by a contribution from the School Operating Fund. Sub- sequent year appropriations for this fund will be contained as part of the annual operating budget process that City Council appropriate in the spring. This appropriation would be based on the available fund balance in addition to estimated revenues from new contributio~ and other sources. I recommend that the attached ordinance be adopted." The City Engineer received bids on September 23, 1986 for replacement of the existing curtains valances, and other fabrics, as well as the associated riggins. Motion of Mrs. Webb and seconded by Mr. Simpson, award of con- tract to apparent low bidder, A. E. Mitchell 6 Co., Inc., as recom- mended, and was adopted by unanimous vote.
