EpFerson, 107 Maryland Avenue, Chairman of Commissxon <br />of Architectural Review, Port Norfolk/Park View, presented a resolu- <br />tion regarding alternatives for parking in Historic Districts. <br /> See Exhibit 87-27(c)) <br /> <br /> Motion of Mrs. Webb and seconded by Mr. Simpson, that the <br /> atter be deferred for 90 days, as recommended by the City Manager, <br />to the meeting of May 12, 1987, and was adopted by unanimous vote. <br /> <br /> 87-28 The following ordinance approved on first reading at <br />the regular meeting of January 27, 1987, was taken up and read: <br /> <br />"AN ORDINANCE TO APPROPRIATE $97,661 FROM THE CAPITAL <br />IMPROVEMENT FUND AND $97,661 FROM THE PUBLIC UTILITIES <br />CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT FUND TO UPDATE THE CITY'S PLANIMETRIC <br />MAPS THROUGH AERIAL SURVEY AND INCORPORATE THEM INTO THE <br />INFRASTRUCTURE DATA BASE." <br /> <br /> On motion of Mr. Gray and seconded by Mr. Corprew, the ordinan <br />was adopted on final reading, and by the following vote: <br /> <br />from <br /> <br /> Ayes: Corprew, Gray, Lucas, Simpson, <br /> Nays: Webb <br /> <br />87-5 - Ordinance to close a portion of Bay <br />the meeting of January 13, 1987, was taken <br /> <br />Holley <br /> <br />Street, deferred <br />up and read. <br /> <br /> Th~ following-l~tter was submitted: <br /> <br /> -~ ?'The mat[~ of~the B~y Street closusure is mow scheduled to co] <br />~ again for hearing on February 10 before the City Council. We have <br />received a letter of ~nvitation from the Park View Civic League and <br />it is our intention ~o make a presentation to them in the near <br />future. The principles of Portsmouth Boating Center will not be <br />~ble to meet with the Civic League until after the February 10 <br />.g date and at this time we would ask that council defer the <br />.tter to their regular meeting in March.
