<br />Motion by Mr. Cherry, and seconded by Dr. Whitaker, to concur with the
<br />recommendation of the Planning Commission that Z-15-05 be denied, and was adopted
<br />by the following vote:

<br /> There was a consensus of City Council to not have Item Z-15-05 come back for a

<br />second reading at the November 24, 2015 City Council meeting.

<br />(b) SNC-15-02 EBONY HEIGHTS - Ordinance granting the request of Elder Marc
<br />A. Thomas, Sr., on behalf of New Community Temple Church of
<br />God in Christ, for a street name change of a portion of Tyre Neck
<br />Road between Eric Street and Fawkes Street. The applicant
<br />proposes a name change from Tyre Neck Road to Bishop Ted G.
<br />Thomas Way. The Comprehensive Plan’s Generalized Future Land
<br />Use Map recommends low to medium density single-family
<br />development in the vicinity of the aforementioned section of Tyre
<br />Neck Road. Vision Principle: Neighborhoods and a Sense of
<br />Community.

<br />“ORDINANCE TO CHANGE THE NAME OF THE PORTION OF TYRE NECK ROAD
<br />LOCATED BETWEEN ERIC STREET AND FAWKES STREET TO TED G. THOMAS
<br />WAY.”
