<br />IMPROVEMENT FUND FOR DRAINAGE IMPROVEMENTS ON THELMAR
<br />LANE, HODGES FERRY ROAD, AND ALABAMA ROAD."

<br /> Rev. Jim Hun~ley, 1023 Naval Avenue, President of Park View
<br />Civic League, stated ~hat the Civic League voted in favor of the
<br />ordinance, but not to affect the support of the Waterfront Committe.

<br /> George Joyner, 324 London Boulevard, representing Portsmouth
<br />Boating Center, requested approval of the ordinance.
<br />
<br /> Arden Pfeiffer, 100 Culpepper Road, representing Waterfront
<br />Committee, stated that the Waterfront Committee had voted unanimous
<br />to halt any a~tion by developers or interested parties without ~n
<br />oyera~l Comprehensive Plan in place, and requested Council to post-
<br />pone any action in Northside until a plan had been developed to wor
<br />for the good of Northside and Portsmouth.
