Parking and Loading Standards, 703. Scope of <br />Regulations H. pertaining to the Uptown (D2) District Form Based <br />Code to modify the parking requirements for properties in the T4, <br />T5, and T6 sub-districts of the Downtown (D1) district. This <br />amendment will apply the same parking standards to all properties <br />north of Interstate 264 in the Downtown (D1) district. Vision <br />Principle: Efficient Responsive Government. <br />1. There were no speakers. <br />Motion by Mr. Edmonds, and seconded by Mr. Meeks, to concur with the <br />recommendation of the Planning Commission that CA-14-01 be approved, and was <br />adopted by the following vote: <br />Ayes: Cherry, Edmonds, Meeks, Moody, Psimas, Randall, Wright <br />Nays: None <br />(d) SNC-14-01 WESTBURY- Ordinance granting the request of Portsmouth <br />Redevelopment and Housing Authority for a street name change in <br />the Westbury development. The request is to change Sean Sykes <br />Avenue to Shawn Sykes Avenue to accurately reflect the historical <br />spelling of the name. This change would apply to those properties <br />fronting on Sean Sykes Avenue from Columbia Street to Godwin <br />Street. Vision Principle: A Robust Economy for Working Men and <br />Women. <br />There were no speakers. <br />Motion by Ms. Randall, and seconded by Mr. Meeks, adopt the following <br />ordinance, and was adopted by the following vote: <br />"ORDINANCE TO CHANGE THE NAME OF SEAN SYKES AVENUE TO SHAWN <br />SYKES AVENUE." <br />Ayes: Cherry, Edmonds, Meeks, Moody, Psimas, Randall, Wright <br />Nays: None <br />(e) S-14-02 DOWNTOWN- Ordinance granting a request of George Willson, <br />Esq. City Attorney, for the closure of a ten (10) foot wide alley <br />located on the south side of the 1800 block of King Street, just east <br />of Yorktown Avenue. This alley is 105 feet long and adjoins the <br />west side of the parcel addressed as 1815 King Street. This <br />request is being made to consolidate lots for the new Behavior <br />Healthcare Services Building located on the northeast corner of <br />Yorktown Avenue and County Street.
