(CA 86-11) <br /> <br /> Barbara Wright, 28 Davis Street, representing Cradock Property <br />Owners Association, requested t~at the amendment be adopted. <br /> <br />Lewis Thomas, 131 Florida Avenue, rep~esenting Port Norfolk <br /> spoke in support of the amendment, and stated owners were <br /> across the sidewalks and parking in front of the businesses. <br /> <br />Alan Gollihue, 210 North Street, favored the code amendment. <br /> <br /> Doris Leitner, 215 Glasggw Street, representing Olde Towne <br />]ivic League, spoke in support of the amendment. <br /> <br />Leslie R. Bids for the new pumper were opened <br />~everal weeks ago, and the cost of the new pumper will be approximate- <br />Ly $156,0Q0. <br /> <br /> In addition tO the new pumper, the Fire Chief wishes to purchas <br />~ew hose as ~ell as provide for funds to upgrade various apparatus <br />~f existing equipment.
