Healing Temple Pentecostal Church is hereby granted a use permit pursuant to ~40-71 (b) of the Code of the City of Portsmoutt to operate a House of Worship on the .845 parcel of land at 505 Rapidan Street (Tax Map 522, Parcels 56 and 54.1), such parcel being more specifically described as follows: UP-87-11 BEGINNING on the east right-of-way of Rapidan Street 334.20~ north from its intersection with Greenwood Drive; thence east 150'; thence north 190'+ to a point; thence west 150' to the east righT-of-way of Rapidan Street; thence south along said right-of-way 197.50' to the Point of Beginning. 3. This use permit is approved subject to the following conditions: Ca) A standard site plan must be submitted to the Department of Engineering and Technical Services for review and approval. (b) All improvements required by the City must be constructed prior to the issuance of an occupancy permit for the use of the new addition to be constructed as a place of worship." Ayes: Barnes, Corprew, ~ray, Lucas, Simpson, Webb, Holl, Nays: None (c) Resolution granting a use permit for a day care center located at 220 Palmer Street, approved on first reading at the Public Hearing of June 9, 1987, was taken up and read. (UP 87-12) On,motion of Mrs. Wehb and seconded by Mr. Corprew, the following resolution was adopted on final reading, and by the following vote: "A RESOLUTION GRANTING A USE PERMIT TO THE CHRISTIAN ANTIOCH CHURCH OF GOD TO OPERATE A CHILD DAYCARE CENTER AT 2200 PALMER STREET. WHEREAS, Joe Vinson, Chairman of the Deacon of Trustees for Christian Antioch Church of God, has made application pursuant to ~40-75 (b) of the Code Of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia, 1973, for the granting of a use permit to operate a child daycare center at 2200 Palmer Street; and WHEREAS, the applicant and the Planning Director have done all things required to be done in connection with said application; an~ WHEREAS; the Planning Commission has recommended the conditio~ granting of a use permit for the operation of a child daycare cent, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia: 1.
