At this time, I would like to call ugon Mr. Danny Cruce, Authority Executive Director, to offer some more detailed £omments regarding these various programs as proposed before us here tonight Danny Cruce, Executive Director, Portsmouth Redevelopment and Housing Authority, presented the following: "Thank you, Mr. Oast, As Mr. Oast indicated, the purpose of this hearing is: To consider proposed Plan Amendments to the Crawf~ rd, Northside, Mount Hermog, Park View, Olde ToWne, Tru×tun and Cradock Projects; and to conside~ amendments to the Statements ob 0bjecti~e and Use Of FundS and other related notice§~ ~egarding the 1987 ity Development Program. These amendments would correct the omission ~ of the Olde Towne Conservation District in the above referenced notices. Proposed Amendment No. 3 for Olde ~owne amends the project boundaries to ~c~:i~Cide with the Olde Towne Historic District boundaries (London Boulevard on the North, Court Street on the east Queen Street on the sout~ and Green Street to the west, as well as two-blocks west of the intersection of North and Washington Streets extends the period of time during which the plan will be in effect and modifies the Plan narrative. Proposed Amendment No. 16 for the Crawford Urban Renewal Project makes technical corrections, extends the Olde Towne South ~n~ya~iDn~ District's southern boundary to include those proper es on the south side of South Street~ and~designates "To Be Acquired" Tax Map 18, Parcel 105, 703 High Street. Such acquired land will be made available for redevelopment by public and private enterpris :s as authorized by State and Local Law. Proposed Amendments No. 7 to the Northside Project and No. 6 to the Mount Hermon and Park View Projects include the provision that all convenants in the Plan be in effect and made applicable to land conveyed within the project area for a period of 25 years. Porposed Amendments No. 1 to the Truxtun and Cradock Projects propose to extend by ~0 years from the date of approval by City Council and tke Board of Commissioners the periods of time during which each plan w~ll be in effect.
