City Manager Chandler explained that Staff was currently working with the residents <br />and businesses to resolve the issue of parking in Olde Towne. <br /> <br />'" Mr. Moody asked for consensus of City Council to reiterate to the Port Authority <br />Board the importance of informing the City of Portsmouth and the other hosts cities <br />of any plans to bring industry to the Portsmouth Marine Terminal (PMT) or any other <br />parcel of property. <br /> <br />'" Mayor Wright provided City Council and citizens with an update on his attendance to <br />the U. S. Conference of Mayors. <br /> <br />12 - 46 - Report on Pending Items <br /> <br />. Bernadette Hogge, Ombudsman, gave an update on items of concern presented by <br />citizens at the January 10, 2012 City Council Meeting. <br /> <br />12 - 47 - Non-Agenda Speakers <br /> <br />1. Travis Lee, 1502 Newville Lane, Carrollton, asked that City Council follow through <br />with the resolution passed to eliminate the social security offset. <br /> <br />2. Yvonne Cotton, 1107 Darren Drive, spoke on her diminished quality of life due to the <br />social security offset. <br /> <br />3. Joanna Hall, 92 Nickelson Street, voiced her concern with the delays in development <br />of the old Cradock High School site. <br /> <br />4. Robert Brown, 5105 Greenbrook Drive, asked for help in having the social security <br />offset for his wife delayed for a year. <br />
