Ottavio, Emmerson Smith, <br />Clinton J. Fortune, Matthew L. Peanort and L. A. Clark be appointe( <br />viewers and that Moses Gibson and James L. Linehan be appointed <br />alternate miewers in the event one of the preceding viewers fails <br />to participate, said viewers to view the hereinafter described <br />portions of such streets and to report to this Council in writing <br />whether ~n their opinion any, and if any what, inconvenience would <br />result mn vacating and closing the following: <br /> <br />Maryland Avenue <br /> <br /> That portion of Maryland Avenue beginning at <br />the northern line of Lots 1885 and 1964 as shown <br />on the plat of Port Norfolk Land Company, recorded <br />in the Clerk's Office of the Circuit Court of the <br />City of Chesapeake, Virginia, in Mao Book ~, <br />pages 70 and 71, which said point is approximately <br />259 feet north of the northern side of Commerce <br />Street and continuing in a northerly direction to <br />the north side of Hartford Street. <br /> <br />Chautauqua Avenue <br /> <br /> The western 10 feet of Chautauqua Avenue beginning <br />at the northern line of Commerce Street and extending <br />in a northern direction 1,166.80 feet to the southern <br />line of the property now or formerly belonging to <br />Seaboard Coastline Railroad." <br /> <br /> On motion of£~rLuga~- aB~ seconded: by,Mr. Simpson'; th~ ~ <br />resolution was adopted By the following vote: <br /> <br />Ayes: Barnes, Corprew, Gray, Lucas, Simpson, Webb, Holle <br />Nays: None <br /> <br /> <br />
