November 24, 1987 "AN ~RDINANCE ~TO APPROPRIATE $20~000. FROM THE CA~PIT~ IMPROVEMENT FUND FOR THE SURVEYING OF THE ABANDONED CSX RAILROAD RIGHT-OF-WAY." 87-502 - Letter from the City Manager recommendinq adoption of an ordinance to appropriate $150,000 from the Capita!l~mprovement Program for improvements to the extension of Riverfront Park-aMd ~he Lightship Park. -~ "The 1987-92 Capital Improvement Program allocates S500,000 for the construction of improvements to the extension of Riverfront Park and the Lightship Park. Plans are presently being prepared for the construction of these improvements which are scheduled for award in March Of 1'988. -Prior to t~is-award an appropriation is required for design costs, instal.lation-of~ fill in Park and relocation of utilities. A portion of this work will be reimbursed by-the developer as p.rovided f~r i~ the development agreementJ The associated costs are as follows: Architectural Design Services (Lightship & Riverfront Park) $ 60,000 Design of Water Street Improvement and Project Coordination by Engineering Dept. $ 15,000 Fill Material S 60,000 utilfty Relocation Total Appropriation $.~15',000 $15~0,000 In accordance with the development agreement $150,000 'will be reimbursed by the developer. FROM THE CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM FOR IMPROVEMENTS TO THE EXTENSION. OF RIVERFRONT PARK AND THE LIGHTSHIP PARK IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE DEVELOPMENT AGREEMENT FOR THE KING"S CROSSING CONDOMINIUMS." 87-503 Letter from the City Manager ~recommending adoption!~f an ordinanCe to amend Section 4-37 of the City Code pertainig~ to dog licenses. "At the request of the City Treasurer, the attached ordinance will allOw dog owners to have an optional license for up to a three-year period, in additi0~ to'the present yearly lic~ns~that is now required. This option allows th~ owner~to purchase a license for one year, ~twO years, ]or three years. : I recommend adoption of the attached ordinance."
