The <br />school Board~wflt conduct ~ public hearing on Monday, December 7, <br />1987 and take action ~egarding their request for City Council to <br />issue:School bonds for' 1987~88' i~the amount of '$2,848,250. The~negotiated fee <br />is 4.75% (9.e~sus 4.70% estimated) of the tota~construction cost. <br />The A & E'work would include design of ths'-gchCol ~aci~ity, as <br />well as the PIT gymnasium, football stadium and recreation master <br />plan; IH'should be noted that the architect will.~o~ be <br />authorized to proceed with the stadium design component until <br />after ~ity Councit has had an~opportunity to review and consider <br />the Frank Dg Lawrenc~'Stadium re-port. <br /> <br /> The funds for~construction will not be appropriated until <br />several conditions are met: <br /> <br /> o~design complete <br /> o project bid <br /> o land purchase~ <br /> <br /> I, therefore, recommend that~City Council appropriate the <br />amount of $1,624,000 for the purposes as 'ident'ified." <br /> <br /> The City Manager requested modification Of the ordinance <br />to reflect the amount of $892,000. <br /> <br /> <br />
