"Ch~llenges"~wi~l open with a-gala reception o~ October .7, 1988 and Will'coincide with Governor Gerald Baliles' proclamation of October as "Disabled Awareness Month." It is anticipated that Governor Baliles, Jean Kennedy Smith, founder of the Very~Sp~eial Arts and other dignitaries will attend. Ayes: Barnes, Nays: None Corprew, Gray, Hawks, Lucas, Simpson, Webb 88-294 - Councilman Hawks thanked Mr. Lieberman for his comprehensive letter to Council in response to the citizen's concern raised at the July 12, 1988 meeting regarding neighborhood noise.
