Ward Robinett, Chairman, John Hatcher, McFall Gourdine, <br />George Eberwine, James Wayland, Danny Cruce, Executive <br />Director, Ralph Buxton, Attorney. <br /> <br />Mayor Webb offered the following statement: <br /> <br /> "On behalf of the City Council and the Portsmouth <br />Redevelopment & Housing Authority Board of Commlssioners, I <br />wish to welcome you to the joint public hearing on the proposed <br />1989 Community Development Program. <br /> <br /> It is anticipated the the City will receive approximately <br />the same Community Development Block Grant Entitlement awarded <br />in 1988. To continue important and ongoing projects, ~he City <br />proposes to include an additional $400,000 in local resources <br />to increase the 1989 Community Development budget." <br /> <br /> P.
