As a result of the construction of the addition to the James Hurst Elementary School, it is necessary for the Virginia Electric and Power Company to acquire a right of way across property of the City of Portsmouth in order to distribute electric power to the new addition. Adoption of a resolution authorizing the City Manager to execute a Right of Way Agreement to Virginia Electric and Power Company for installation of a power line cable to serve the new addition to the James Hurst Elementary School across the property of the City. Execution of Right of Way Agreement between City of Portsmouth and Virginia Electric and Power Company. Motion by Mr. Whitehurst, and seconded by Ms. Psimas, to adopt the following resolution, and was adopted by the following vote: "RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE A RIGHT OF WAY AGREEMENT WITH VIRGINIA ELECTRIC AND POWER COMPANY FOR A POWER LINE ACROSS PROPERTY OF THE CITY TO SERVE THE JAMES HURST ELEMENTARY SCHOOL." BE IT RESOLVED that the City Manager be and he hereby is authorized to execute a Deed of Easement to Virginia Electric and Power Company for an electric cable line to serve the James Hurst Elementary School across the property of the City being developed for the James Hurst Elementary School at such time as may be appropriate and necessary.
