Bernadette Hogge, Ombudsman, gave an update on items of concern presented by <br />citizens at the August 24,2010 City Council Meeting. <br /> <br />10 - 425 - Non-Agenda Speakers <br /> <br />1. Sharon Rich, 322 Douglas Avenue, spoke in opposition to the proposed Hull's Creek <br />development project. <br /> <br />2. Walter Bell, 236 Maryland Avenue, spoke in opposition to the proposed Hull's Creek <br />development project. <br /> <br />3. Elonzia Holmes, 115 Keeper Street, voiced his opposition with homes in River Pointe <br />being built at a price not comparable to the River Pointe home he is currently owns. <br /> <br />4. David Cartier, 301 London Street, informed City Council of the world premiere of <br />Atlantis Down being shown at the Commodore Theater on October 1 st. <br /> <br />5. Steve Carroll, 3112 Riveredge Drive, voiced his concern with what he believes are <br />deplorable conditions at the New Port Development site. <br /> <br />6. Mark Geduldig-Yatrofsky, 2715 Sterling Point Drive, voiced concern with the two <br />proposed projects and the drainage issues that could result. He also asked that the <br />public be notified of the citizens chosen for the Blue Ribbon Commission studying <br />changes to the code. <br /> <br />7. William Devers, 4546 Hatton Point Road, voiced his concern with city workers <br />operating vehicles and talking on cell phones. <br /> <br />8. Leon Mortimer, 506 Summers Place, voiced his concern with the drainage problem <br />in Highland Biltmore and New Port. <br /> <br />9.
