Levy, on behalf of Churchland Forest <br />II Associates, has made application pursuant to ~40-55 of the <br />Code of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia, I973, as amended, for <br />the granting and approval of a group housing project consisting <br />of seventy-five (75) rental apartmen[ units on a 5i29 acre <br />parcel west of Tejo Lane adjacent to the Chesapeake/Portsmouth <br />corporate limits boUndary and further described as Tax Map 831, <br />Parcels 21 and 22, and Tax Map 833, Parcel 2, such group housing <br />P~oject having been designated as GHP-88-7~; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the application has been determined by the <br />planning Commission to have met the r~quirements of said ~40-55 <br />and the Planning Commission has reviewed such application~ site <br />plans, elevations and interior plans submitted~the~ewith and has <br />recommended approval of said application; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the developer has been informed that approval of <br />a group housing project pursuant to ~40-55 grants only an <br />exemption from certain requirements for residences as stated in <br />said.section and does not constitute a wai~ver of any other <br />requirement embodied in the SubdivisiOn ~rdinance, Z~ning <br />Ordinance, Code of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia, Or any <br />other applicable local, State or federal ~law or regulation; and <br /> <br /> W~EREAS, the developer is aware that building permits or <br /> any oth~~ required permit will be issued only ~pon compliance <br /> with the ordinances, laws, or regulations applicable thereto. <br /> <br /> N~W~ THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City <br /> of !P~rtSmOuth, Virginia, that the certain group housing project <br /> specifically designated as GHP-88-7 and more specifically <br /> <br /> <br />
