Frank Hughes, Interim Pastor, Grove Park Baptist Church, <br />opened the meeting with prayer, followed by the Pledge of <br />Allegiance to the Flag. <br /> <br /> Mayor Webb welcomed all visitors in attendance. <br /> <br /> Motion of Mr. Barnes and seconded by Mrs. Lucas, minutes of <br />called meeting of March 21, 1989; of a called meeting of <br />March 28, 1989; minutes of a regular meeting of March 28, 1989, <br />be approved as received, and was adopted by unanimous vote. <br /> <br />a <br /> <br />89-140 Presentation of Proclamations to: <br /> <br />Margaret E. Program. <br /> <br />No one spoke at the Public Nearing. <br /> <br />No action was taken. <br /> <br />- UNFINISHED BUSINESS - <br /> <br />89-94 Amendment to the City Code: <br /> <br />(g) CA-89-3 <br /> <br />CITY CODE AMENDMENT - A proposal to amend <br />Chapter 40 of the City Code to restrict <br />the parking of certain commercial <br />vehicles in residential zoning district, <br />deferred from the regular meeting of <br />March 28, 1989. <br /> <br /> Dennis Allen, 204 Park Manor Road, representing Allen Well <br />Service, spoke in opposition to the proposal. <br /> <br /> Joseph Kesler, 2 Harrower Court, representing Kesler & Sons <br />Tree Service, spoke in opposition to the proposed Code Amendment. <br /> <br /> <br />
