<br /> At the regular meeting of the City Council held on Tuesday,
<br />April 1t, 1989, there were present:

<br />Mayor Gloria O. Webb, Jack P. Barnes, E. G. Corprew, Jr.
<br />J. Robert Gray, James, C. Hawks, L. Louise Lucas,
<br />Jo Herbert Simpson, George L. Hanbury, II, City Manager,
<br />Steven Lieberman, City Attorney.

<br /> Rev. Frank Hughes, Interim Pastor, Grove Park Baptist Church,
<br />opened the meeting with prayer, followed by the Pledge of
<br />Allegiance to the Flag.
<br />
<br /> Mayor Webb welcomed all visitors in attendance.
<br />
<br /> Motion of Mr. Barnes and seconded by Mrs. Lucas, minutes of
<br />called meeting of March 21, 1989; of a called meeting of
<br />March 28, 1989; minutes of a regular meeting of March 28, 1989,
<br />be approved as received, and was adopted by unanimous vote.

<br />CITY CODE AMENDMENT - A proposal to amend

<br />vehicles in residential zoning district,
<br />deferred from the regular meeting of
<br />March 28, 1989.
<br />
<br /> Dennis Allen, 204 Park Manor Road, representing Allen Well
<br />Service, spoke in opposition to the proposal.
<br />
<br /> Joseph Kesler, 2 Harrower Court, representing Kesler & Sons
<br />Tree Service, spoke in opposition to the proposed Code Amendment.
