Hanbury, II, City Manager Stev~n ~Ll~beri~a~',~C~t~A~torney 89-13~ '~ the foitowin~ call for the~ meeting was.read: "Pleas~ attend a called meeting of.~the City Council to be held in the Councll'Conference Room, 6~th floor of City Hall, 801 Crawfo~d Street; at 4~30 p.m. Tuesday, April 11, 1989, for the purpose of~a~P~blic Work Session../l In addition you may consider a motion to go into an Executive Session. By order of the Mayor. 89-137 - The following items were.discussed at the Public Work Session: 1. Tim~Lfttle, Director of Computer Services briefed Council and demonstrated on the Program for the Permit and fnspection System. 2. Luke McCoy, Director of General Services, briefed Council on the new Southeastern Public Service Authority Recycling Program.- 3. Norman Whitaker, Director of Planning briefed Council On alternative plans for Code amendment concerning Commercial Vehicles parking in r~sidential areas. 89-138 - Motion of Mr~ Hawks and secondedby Mr. Barnes, to ~o into an executive session in accordance.with Section 2.1-344 of the Code of Virginia to discuss the following: 1. Consultation with City Attorney and briefinG by staff members pertaining to actual or potential litigation or other legal matters within the jurisdiction of the City Council as permitted under subseGtion (a) (6); ~ermitted under subpection (a) (1).
