July 11, 1989 89-292 - George A. Jones, 4216 Swannanoa Drive, President Central civic Forum, requested personnel information about Sleepy Hole Golf Course and City Park Golf Course. Council asked the City Manager to respond to the request. Councilman Corprew requested a StatuS ~eport on Country village and that he and CoUncilman Simpson be appointed to a City Liaison Committee to keep the residents informed. The City Attorney will report at the next meeting of the feasibility of such a role. 89-288 - Vice Mayor J. Robert Gray offered the following nominations for appointments to the following Boards/Commissions: Community Services Board Frederick D. Hobby, EvelYn Hyman~ Peggy Walker, to be reappointed for a term of three years, expiring June 30, 1992; B. Jane Garrett to be appointed for a three year term, expiring June 30, 1992, replacing Jane Jackson, and Charles Leckrone to be appointed for a three year term, expiring June 30, 1992, re~ Judge Donald Sandie and Carol Carr to be appointed to fill an unexpired term ending June 20, 1991, replacing Evelyn J. Wall. ~otion of Mr. Barnes, and Seconded by Mr, Hawks, to close nominations and there being no further nominations, the above members to be elected to the Board and was adopted by unanimous vote. Commission of ~Architectural Review Cradock/Olde'Towne/ Truxtun Carroll D. Ferrell, Curtis Gent, Gracie L. Peacock, to be reappointed for a term of three years, expiring May 1, 1992. Motion of Mr. Simpp09 and seconded by Mr. Hawks, to close nominations and there being n° further nominations, the above members to be elected to the Commission and was adopted by unanimous vote. craney Island Study commission John F. Bailey, Jr., and John V. Tuttle, to be reappointed for a term of four years, expiring July 1, 1993. Motion of Mr. Hawks and seconded by Mr, Simpson, to close nominations and there being no further nominations, the above members to be elected to the Commission and was adopted by unanimous vote. Emergency Medical Services Advisory Commission Andrew Johnson to be appointed to a term of three years, expiring July 31, 1993, replacing Charles W. Smith. Motion of Mr. Simpson and seconded by Mr. Barnes, to close nominations and there being no further nominations, the above members to be elected to the Commission and was adopted by unanimous vote.
