Ben Beamer on the <br />School Board, and to the building of a new Churchland High <br />School. <br /> <br /> Rev. Chester Moody, 283 Choate Street, representing the <br />People Political Action Commi%tee.of~!POrtsmOuth, spoke in <br />opposition to the recent dismissals from the School Board. <br /> <br /> .~Rafiq~Zaidi, ~3106 Hull Street, representing Black <br />Concerned Citizens of Portsmouth, spoke on equal representation <br />on the School Board. <br /> <br /> Leon J. Boone, 1414 Douglas Avenue, representing self~ <br />spoke on his concerns with the appointment of a black to the <br />School Board and the racist incidents happening in Portsmouth. <br /> <br /> Franklin X. Green, 1511 Effingham Street, <br />Black Concerned Citizens of Portsmouthl <br /> <br />representing the <br /> <br /> Motion of Mrs. Lucas and seconded by Mr. Corprew, to <br />suspend the 5 minute time limit and grant Ms. Stith, 5 <br />additional minutes, was denied and by the following vote: <br />(Corprew, Lucas) <br /> <br />5-2 <br /> <br />Mr. Green spoke in opposition to racism in POrtsmouth. <br /> <br /> Rev.
