October 15, 1991 "A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING~THE CITY MANAGER TO CONVEY AN EASEMENT TO VIRGINIA. POWER COMPANY FOR THE INSTALLATION OF POLES AND WIRES IN THE RIGHT-OF2WAY OF HARPER ROAD ADJACENT TO PROPERTY OF THE VIRGINIA PORT AUTHORITY." "WHEREAS, Virginia Powe~ Company has requested an ~asement on the hereinafter-described City property for the purpose of installing an overhead power line; and WHEREAS, the necessity for such installation was p~ompted by the construction of Harper Road in the area of the Virginia Port Authority and Sealand Corporation, which rendered poles and lines already in place an impediment to their operations. NOW, THEREFOREt BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of tie City of Portsmouth, Virginia, that the City Manager be, and he ]ereby Is, authorized to convey an easement to ~irglnia Power Company for an overhead power line on the..following described property to-wit: All that certain piece or parceli of land, situated in the City of Portsmouth, Virginia, as set! forth and snown o2 a 30-foot easement on that plat entitled "Plat ~to Accompany Right-of-Way Agreement, Overhead, City of Pcrtsmoulth, Virginia, Plat No. 24-90-0040," dated April 26, 1~91, said plat being atta(hed hereto and made a part hereof.
