209 <br /> <br />January 14, 1992 <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Tony Scarangella was selected as the 1991 Fleet <br />Reserve Association's National Shipmate of the Year for Youth <br />Activities as a result of his tireless efforts and many hours of <br />dedication to the youth of the Tidewater area. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of <br />Portsmouth, Virginia, that the Council does hereby commend Anthony <br />J. "Tony" Scarangella for his commitment to our youth a~d for his <br />accomplishments in receiving the 1991 East Coast Region Shipmate <br />of the Year Award and the 1991 National Shipmate of the Year Award <br />for Youth Activities. <br /> <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a copy of this resolution be <br />spread upon the minutes of this Council and that a copy he <br />presented to Anthony J. "Tony~ Scarangella in recognition of his <br />achievements.
