No local match is required." <br /> <br /> Motion of Mr. King and seconded by Mr. Epperson, to grant <br />authorization to transfsr $22,000 from the Grants Contingency <br />Account for the support of the Arts Center a~d ar~ exhibitions, <br />as requested, and was adopted by unanimous vote. <br /> <br /> NEW BUSINESS - <br />92-111 BOARDS AND COMMISSIONS <br /> <br /> No appointments. <br /> <br /> 92-112 - Motion of Mr. Epperson and seconded by Mr. Hawks, <br />the following resolution opposing the relocation of the <br />Virginia Employment Commission, was adopted and by the following <br />vote: <br /> <br />"A RESOLUTION EXPRESSING THE CONCERN OF THE COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF PORTSMOUTH, VIRGINIA, AND ITS OPPOSITION TO THE <br />RELOCATION OF THE VIRGINIA EMPLOYMENT OFFICE FROM THE CITY OF <br />PORTSMOUTH TO THE CAMPUS OF THE TIDEWATER COMMUNITY COLLEGE <br />IN SUFFOLK, VIRGINIA. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Virginia Employment Commission has announced its <br />intention to relocate its Portsmouth office from its centralized <br />location in the City of Portsmouth at 3116 South Street, <br />Portsmouth, Virginia; and <br /> <br /> <br />
