Ministe~ Rafiq Zaidi, 3106 Hull Street. in - UNFINISHED BUSINESS - Consent Agenda 92-262 - Mayor Webb requested 92-262 (c) be removed from the consent agenda fOr further discussion. Motion of Mr. Epperson and seconded by Mr. Ctemons the following items 92-262 (a) and (b), approved at the Public Hearing of August 10~ 1992, were adopted On final reading and by the following vo%e:~ (a) UP-92-14 A RESOLOTION 'GRANTING A USE PERMIT TO THE DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC UTILITIES OF THE CITY OF PORTSMOUTH FOR THE OPERATION OF A WATER SUPPLY FACILITY AT 613 BROAD STREET. WHEREAS, James R. Spacek, Director of Public Utilities for the City of Portsmouth, has made application pursuant to Section 40-43.1 of the Code of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia~ 1988, for the granting of a use permit to operate a water supply facility at 613 Broad Street as hereinafter described; and WHEREAS, the applicant and the PlaDning Direct6r have done all things required to be done in connection with said application; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has recommended the granting of said use permit with conditions. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia: (a) 1. That the use for which the use permit hereinafter-described is sought: Will not adversely affect the health and safety of persons residing or working in the neighborhood of the proposed use; (b) Will not be detrimental to the public use or injurious to the property or improvements in the neighborhood; (c) Will be provided with sufficient landscaping to insure compatibility with surrounding uses; (d) Will be a project that will be developed according to a plan for parking, driveways, and~curb cuts which will provide for safe and convenient traffic movement; and
