<br />AUQust 22, 2006 <br /> <br />Background: <br />. A supplemental appropriation is needed in the Stormwater Management Fund to <br />provide funding for three stormwater capital projects previously appropriated within the <br />Capital Projects Fund as part of the Capital Improvement Program (CIP) for the FY- <br />2005-2006 through FY-2007-2008 period. <br />. For each fiscal year during the period from FY 2004-2005 through FY 2006-2007, <br />a CIP Operating Transfer was not appropriated in the Stormwater Management Fund <br />Operating Budget to fund three stormwater capital projects appropriated within the <br />Capital Projects Fund as part of the CIP. <br /> <br />Discussion: <br />. $2,578,953 from the Stormwater Management Fund's fund balance will be used <br />to provide the funding for the CIP Operating Transfer needed to cover expenditures for <br />three stormwater capital projects. <br /> <br />Council Action: <br />Adoption of proposed ordinance. Vision Principle: A Robust and Prospering Economy. <br /> <br />Next Steps Following Council Action: <br />. The Chief Financial Officer will ensure that the budget action needed to increase <br />the total appropriations in the Stormwater Management Fund by $2,578,953 is <br />processed immediately upon adoption of the ordinance. <br /> <br />Motion by Mr. D. Smith, and seconded by Ms. Psimas, to adopt the following <br />ordinance, and was adopted by the following vote: <br /> <br />"ORDINANCE INCREASING THE ESTIMATED REVENUES AND EXPENDITURE <br />APPROPRIATIONS BY $2,578,953 IN THE FY 2006-2007 STORMWATER <br />MANAGEMENT FUND OPERATING BUDGET." <br /> <br />Ayes: Heretick, Moody, Psi mas, Randall, D.
