February 22. 2005 Summary: . By reprogramming existing budgeted funds from various accounts within the General Fund, this will provide additional funding to cover various contractual services, property management, and maintenance and repairs expenditures anticipated by the General Services Department through June 30, 2005. Purpose and Need: . Funding will be provided for the following: 1. Security services for various civic facilities. 2. Rental costs for various leased buildings/properties. 3. Other contractual services. 4. Maintenance and repair jobs. . These funds will contribute to the City Council's vision of Neighborhood and Community Transformation by producing safe public facilities and a state of the art environment. Financial Impact: . No additional Operating Budget funding is necessary. Motion by Mr. Whitehurst, and seconded by Ms. Randall, to adopt the following ordinance, and was adopted by the following vote: "ORDINANCE TO REPROGRAM $491,225 WITHIN THE 2004-2005 GENERAL FUND FOR VARIOUS PROPOSED EXPENDITURES BY THE DEPARTMENT OF GENERAL SERVICES." Ayes: Heretick, Moody, Psi mas, Randall, Smith, Whitehurst, Holley Nays: None 05 - 75 - Adoption of an ordinance to accept $310,430 from the Department of Criminal Justice Services and to appropriate the same amount in the Grants Fund for the Victim Witness Assistance Program. This program provides comprehensive information and direct services to crime victims and witness in accordance with Crime Victim and Witness Rights Acts and other applicable victims' rights legislation.
