Miha Stokes, 3916 Long Point Boulevard, spoke in opposition to this item. <br /> <br />Motion by Mr. Moody, and seconded by Ms. Randall, to deny item UP-05-02 on <br />first and final reading, and was adopted by the following vote: <br /> <br />Ayes: Heretick, Moody, Psi mas, Randall, Smith, Whitehurst, Holley <br />Nays: None <br /> <br />Mayor Holley called for a recess of two minutes. <br /> <br />- City Manager's Report - <br /> <br />05 - 59 - Adoption of an ordinance to amend the FY 2004-2005 Capital Improvement <br />Program by appropriating an additional $259,217 in the Capital Improvement Fund for <br />repairs to the London Boulevard Bridges, and to authorize the City Manager to sign a <br />City/State agreement for this project. <br /> <br />Of the $259,217 in additional funding needed to complete this project, the City <br />will be reimbursed 98% of the cost. The City's two percent match ($5,185) will <br />come from the Capital Improvement Program. <br /> <br />Recommended Action: <br /> <br />. Adoption of an ordinance to amend the FY 2004-2005 Capital Improvement Program <br />by appropriating an additional $259,217 in the Capital Improvements Fund for repairs to <br />the London Boulevard Bridges, and to authorize the City Manager to sign a City/State <br />agreement for this project. <br />
