Program. 03 - 130 - Public hearing on use permit, rezoning and code amendment applications: (a) UP-03-08 HIGHLANDS NEIGHBORHOOD - Paula Glover requests a use permit to operate a childcare center for infants at 3204 Victory Boulevard. The Comprehensive Plan recommends industrial development. Motion by Mr. Benn, and seconded by Mr. Moody, to concur with the recommendation of the Planning Commission that UP-03-08 be approved on first reading, and was adopted by unanimous vote. (b) Z-03-02 TRUXTUN NEIGHBORHOOD Maurice Slaughter requests to rezone 2219 Frederick Boulevard from commercial C-1-K (Conditional) to industrial M-1-K (conditional). The Comprehensive Plan recommends public/quasi-public. Motion by Mr. Moody, and seconded by Ms. Randall, to concur with the recommendation of the Planning Commission that Z-03-02 be approved on first reading, and was adopted by unanimous vote. (c) Z-03-03 DOWNTOWN NEIGHBORHOOD - Ocean Marine, LLC requests to amend conditional zoning proffers at 1 Gosport Row to include buying and selling of new boats, brokerage of used boats and leasing of offices. The Comprehensive Plan recommends industrial development.
